HILLS – I cannot remember the last time I punished myself with hill training. I was set to do some track, but it was still under a covering of snow, so we headed for Primrose Hill instead.

2 x 15 mins running up the hill and then jogging down, with a three minute recovery in between the sets. It was OK, but perhaps I was taking it too easy, for fear of ruining my morning run. Maki kept sneaking up behind me, over taking, and jokily commenting “come on Charlotte, I know you can go faster”. She is a machine.

Fog, so no rewarding view at the summit.
