My first ‘long run’. Ray joined me for the first four miles – great to have the company. I enjoyed running at a pace which meant I could comfortably chat and not feel too exhausted afterwards. Strange, it feels like I’m not working hard enough, but I know that the purpose of these long sunday runs is to build on my stamina and to ‘clock’ miles. I want to make sure I don’t run the risk of overtraining at any point.
